Making Home A Greener Place

By Leteshia Weaver

3 years ago, when I became a mom I started looking into making my home green. I began by purchasing more Eco-friendly cleaning supplies and kind of stopped there. Since then, I have continued to try to make small changes, but I have not been consistent.

When I found out I was pregnant for the second time with Austin, I decided it was time to make a more permanent change with going green. I began looking into plant-based and organic baby items and I came across Nest Diapers. I have been using them for over a month now and I absolutely love them!

To begin, Nest Diapers are THE softest diapers I have ever felt! They honestly feel like a smooth cotton t-shirt! My mom was in town visiting when the diapers arrived, and she was also amazed by how soft they were. In addition to the diapers having an amazing texture, they are also great for the environment!

Nest Diapers are compostable and breakdown to almost nothing! They are also hypoallergenic, which is very important to me because Austin has sensitive skin. The fact that they are free of harmful chemicals resonated with me because there are so many chemicals in baby items and it blows my mind! Nest has come up with a way to make diapering Eco-friendly and they are doing an amazing job at it. Just check them out at Gimme The Good Stuff where they are rated #1 for disposable diapers!

I never thought about finding plant-based diapers to use for my oldest, but I am very glad that I did for my newest little babe. We are happy to have found a diaper that is hypoallergenic and free from harmful chemicals so we do not have to worry about a thing!
